Why Do I have to think about Career Day Now?

I am thinking about careers right now because I want to be successful in the future. It is important because I want to be a professional and if I start now I will be more prepared in the future. This project is going to help me a lot because is going to make think about the future a lot. I am going to be finding facts about the careers I like this will help me understand why and how I will work when I become a professional.

I have thought about my future but not that much. I keep changing my mind on the things I like, so is like crazy! Thanks to my teacher, Ms. Sa, I am learning a lot of things about myself like the careers I like and the things I love to do like, Math, Technology, and Science(Animal Care). I appreciate my teacher Ms. Sa because she is helping me and my friends think about our futures and becoming professionals.

Profile Reflection

My top three interests are Mathematics, Technology, and Science. I was really surprise when I saw my third interest because I am not a Science Fan. The only thing I love about Science is the earth and animals. I already knew about Mathematics and Technology. I love numbers and math problems. They are like an online game, so much fun! Also I love Technology, I love computers and Laptops!

If I were to choose a career it will be in a office working because it involves computers and some kind of math. I will be kind of like a boss in a company or office. I like to work in computers and organizing stuff, like papers in an office. I think my top interests are totally all about me because I am a true nerd and those are things I actually truly love.

Aim: How do we evaluate algebraic expressions?

 • Today we learned how to evaluate expressions. Algebraic expressions consists of one or more variables.
Vocabulary:
Variable= a letter that represents a number that can vary.
Constant= Something that doesn't change.

12x = Another way to write 12x is 12•x.
4/y= Another way to write 4/y is 4÷y
3xy/2= 3•x•y÷2

The Difference between a variable and a constant is that a variable varies and changes but a constant stays the same.
